A community wide
Christmas Musical, “The Word on the Street,”
written by Ingrid De Sanctis and Aaron Reynolds
will be presented on December 8 and 9, 2007 at
the Ankeny High School Auditorium under the
leadership of Steve Carstenson, musical director
and Wayne Pierson, drama director. “The Word on
the Street,” is a contemporary play which
presents the story of Mary and Joseph in a
present day urban setting. God knew what he was
doing when he chose these two ordinary and
humble people, but what was it like for them?
Exciting contemporary music, lyrics, and the
dramatic story explore the journey of these two
people and how, when faced with that which seems
impossible to believe, chose to follow.
Performance times are 7pm, Saturday, December 8,
and 3pm, Sunday, December, 9.
As always, admission is
FREE
to the public but seating is limited so tickets
